Mimiron 10 Hardmode

For the 10 man group working on Mimiron.

We're making solid progress, we just need to clean up a few things in phase 3. For anyone who is not familiar with the fight, please take a look at this video.

Notes:

Lineup Changes:
While we are learning this fight, it may make more sense to take 3 raid healers. A resto druid w/ rejuv spam mebbe what we're missing to make phase 2 more stable. A hunter may also be a better ACC tank in phase 3.

phase 1:
Last night we had fairly clean phase 1s, however, every now and then we were losing a player during phase 1 which would spoil our phase 2 attempts.

Small change for tomorrow: Let's try kiting him around the circumference of the room from the get go.

Reason: While kiting the fires around the outside edge of the room, multiple people were getting napalm shelled as they were repositioning. By kiting him around the edge of the room, most of the ranged dps will be able to stand in the middle of the room and will need to move around less.

phase 2: Phase 2 was pretty solid when we got to it with everyone up. Let's keep doing what we're doing. Phase 2 seems to be all around a dps race. Last night, we were heavy on ranged dps, and since ranged require more baby sitting in phase 2, we may want to go with a more balanced raid next time - 3 ranged 3 melee.

From what I remember yesterday, we were losing a few people here and there dring spin up / p3w p3w. Healers were busy readjusting positions during a spin up, but people were still taking damage from heatwave or were forced to run through a fire. If we notice this happening again, we may want to save DS and AM for p3wp3ws.

phase 3: Watch the movie I linked, at around 4:20 is when phase 3 starts. We really need the command unit tank to watch the movie very closely and get a good feel for the pacing of the kite. The raid can't get boxed in by fires at all. This means, you will have to keep the pace fairly brisk and constantly keep the raid moving from alcove to alcove.

It may be easier for a hunter to tank/kite the ACC since they have a taunt and can dps better on the move.

The ranged dps need to be especially alert in phase 3 and take down the emergency fire bots asap when they get too close to the raid.

Also, if you get a junk bot on you, come to tank. Lots of stuff going on and with all the fires in the room, sometimes it's hard for me to spot a stray junk bot.

DPS 1st Assault bot down to 20%, then wait for another Assault bot to spawn, kill the 1st and 2nd Assault bots together and loot their cores. Burn down all Junkbots and remaining Assault bot then get the ACC into position in an alcove and pop both cores back to back with lust.

phase 4: Warrior MT will leapfrog aggro using taunt on the ACC and use spell reflect and taunts to maintain aggro. This should make things easier on the healers, as HandPulse + Plasma Ball can 2 shot a ranged dps if the timing is off and by RNG lands back to back.

Some Macros:

All Ranged DPS use this macro to dps down the emergency fire bots when they get too close to the raid. The cast should be occupied by an instant.
/target Emergency
/cast ...

For the Assault Bot Tank
/target Assault
/cast ...

For the Bombot Tank, remember to be as far away from raid as possible (stay in range of healers).
/target Bomb
/cast ...

For the Aerial Command Center tank, cast an instant so you grab aggro asap.
/target Aerial
/cast ...

For the Magnetic Core Looter, use the core when the Aerial CC tank/kiter has him in an alcove.
/use Magnetic Core
