Ok, new portal map.
We were ridiculously close to an immaculate phase 3 several times last raid, however, we had some portal failures. We Absolutely Cannot Have Any Portal Failures in phase 2. If even 1 person screws up their portal assignment in phase 2, it can snowball into multiple failures from those who get screwed out of their portals which chain more snowball failures on the portals.
New Plan.
Next raid we are going to mark the 3 people who never fail on portals. Look at the map, those are the marks they will receive (because those marks aren't used by DBM for brain links and malady of the mind).
As always, we will run 3 groups in the brain phase. One group goes right, one group goes left, one group goes to the back.
Group Orange, the person in this group will take portal #3. Those assigned to 2 and 4, you will ALWAYS follow orange around. No matter what. After phase 1, ALWAYS follow orange around. When Orange gets in position to get into portal, whoever is assigned to portal #2, You go Right, #4 You go Left.
When Blue gets into position, #5 you go right, #7 you go left.
When Purple gets into position, #8 you go right, #10 you go left.
Once inside the brain room; Group Orange, you run up the left flank, Group Blue, you run to the back, Group Purple, you run up the right flank.
This way, only 3 people ever have to know EXACTLY which portal they are taking.
And remember! The three cardinal positions, north west east are marked inside the room by those spectral chains. These 3 people merely have look at their mini map, look at the spectral chains, and they should easily be able to find their portal positions.
Once you are inside the brain room. Orange will go up the left flank, purple will go up the right flank, blue will go straight to the back of the room.
Let's clean up phase 2. We're getting to phase 3 fairly consistently, but it's just way too dirty - we need to get to phase 3 within 3 brain portals. To accomplish this, we need people getting to their portals on time, ready to click in.
