Cleaning up these hardmodes part 2

This post is primarily meant for the new recruits, I realize many of you are being thrown into the deep end of the pool right off the bat.  So here are some diagrams that should help you understand where you should be standing in some of the most sensitive moments in these fights in the Blood Wing.

1st Blood Princes:

Blue Circles denote ranged dps, Red Circles Denote Melee DPS (yes we never try to take that many melee dps on this fight but this is the worst case scenario), Purple circles denote ball handlers, and Green triangles denote healers.

This diagram shows where you should be standing during Valanar (The Vortex Boss).  The reason why this is the hardest part of this fight is because bad positioning during an empowered Vortex will bounce people around, although being bounced around won't necessarily kill you - not spreading out properly for vortex will lead to 1 of 2 things:

a. Tank Healer gets bounced and a tank dies.
b. Ball Handler gets bounced and a ball drops, bouncing even more people around - particularly healers.

Note the positioning of the healers. tank/raid healers are on the east and west sides, the raid healers are on the north and south sides.  If you are a healer in this fight, you need to make sure you are at the cardinal positions in the room.  The reason for this is the following:

a. If you are bounced, you will have your back to the wall and will not be bounced too far away from your healing targets.

b. When Taldaram (The Fireball boss) becomes empowered, the two healers on the east side of the room get in melee range of Taldaram removing them from the list of candidates for fire ball), while all other healers are already at max range away from Taldaram.

Note that there is a pattern to this positioning, the inner circle is reserved for the melee dps, the second outer circle is reserved for ranged DPS, the last and outer most circle is reserved for healers and ball handlers.  When Valaanar begins casting Empowered Vortex, everyone needs to spread outwards towards the outside edges of the room.  After the Vortex we collapse back into regular DPS positions.

Next boss on the list to clean up is BQL.  The most sensitive part of this fight is during the air phase.  Take a look at this diagram.  Red circles denote melee dps, yellow circles denote ranged dps, and green circles denote healers.

There is plenty of time to spread out before the fear.  All things being equal, the fear should only bounce you at max 10-15 yards away from the edges of the room granted the fear started when you were already spread out before the fear phase started.  Watch those timers, and we also call it out on vent.  Spread out and get to the edges before the fear starts, and once the fear wears off if you are a DPS class, get to the edges of the room you have a good 2 seconds to find wide berth from other players.  Give space in the center for healers.

Furthermore, if you are a class that can heal - and I don't care if you are a feral druid or an enhancement shaman, you should be healing.  Pop everything!  Divine Hymn, Tranquility, Chain Heal from an elemental shaman, etc.  Do everything that you can to prevent people from dying, especially people who have the initial starter seeds.  Furthermore, don't let up on the healing even after she comes down.  Continue to help with healing until she is back in her tanking position and the raid looks steady.
